"Welcome Back".
October was a perfect month to travel and travel we did. My husband had meetings in London and while he was working, I spent my week walking around this beautiful city and I took hundreds of photos. It rained only one day but that was perfect too because of the marvelous painterly reflections in the sidewalks and streets. I think I'll be painting many London scenes in the near future.
From London we flew to Pisa in Italy, rented a car and drove down to our beloved Muricciaglia www.muricciaglia.com in Radda in Chianti. This is the first time we have been to Tuscany this late in the season. The fall foliage was spectacular and the weather was cool and pleasant. The crowds of people had thinned out enough that it was a pleasure to walk around and visit old friends in Buonconvento, San Gimignano and Badia a Coltabuono. There are so many things to do and see in Tusca
ny. Cooking classes, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, fine dining and of course, sightseeing are just a few.
Mimma and Franco Ferrando own Muricciaglia. Mimma with her sister Franca and three other good friends own a cooking school called "Tutti a Tavola" www.tutti-a-tavola.com. They teach the fine art of Tuscan cooking. We have taken the classes several times and they are worth every penny. It was a wonderful relaxing vacation and hopefully, we will be visiting again next year.

For those of you in the Huntington, New York area, I am exhibiting in the Art League of Long Island Members' Exhibition in the Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery from December 6 to January 3. The address is 107 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, New York 11746. ph. 631-462-5400.
I want to wish all of you a Magical Holiday Season and that all your wishes come true.
